Out of the Depths

Out of the Depths is Bill Branstetter’s San Antonio modern-metal project, setting the Psalms to music word for word and giving ancient songs of rage, grief, hope, repentance, and awe a sound equal to their emotional weight.

The project is produced by Bill with performances and co-production from Evan Rodaniche, whose credits include Lacey Sturm, Powerman 5000, and Cage9. Rather than centering one permanent frontman, Out of the Depths is built as a collaboration with a different vocalist interpreting each Psalm. The songs are collected in The Psalms Soundtrack, a growing musical journey through all 150 Psalms.
